Each season, PVAC begins practices in late
September and soon after conducts Swim
Evaluations to group swimmers into their appropriate classification. We then
conduct an intra-team Mock Meet
to orient new swimmers (& families) to the
Suburban Aquatic League
(SAL) swim meet format and to gather our swimmers' initial times
which are used as seed times in our 1st meet of the
season. In early November, PVAC sponsors the
PVAC Fall Fest Invitational which
allows swimmers from around the Suburban Aquatic League to participate in SAL's
inaugural invitational each year.
As the season progresses, we offer
several Dual meets, various
Invitational meets, Diving
meets, a "Division Championship" meet open to all swimmers and finally the
season ending "League Championship" meet hosting the top/fastest 18 swimmers
(plus 2 alternates) in each
age group held at LaSalle University.
We wrap up our season with an
Awards Banquet followed by an evening
of 'fun in the pool' for the swimmers.
